One of my friends, Sam Radford, who blogs here - his blog is called, “The Future Now.” I love that title. It sums up a lot of my life philosophy - start living today the way you want your life to be. The Future, as Sam says - is now. It is every moment after you read this blog, and I guess if you want to be specific, as you are reading it.
It is good to look back at your past and spend some time trying to figure out what got you to where you are - but, that only helps to set the stage for the future. The Future - is now. The Future is so, NOW I can feel it, can you? I am in love with this phrase - the future now. I don’t usually love phrases, but my wife will, on occasion remind me that I am stuck in a rut of using phrases. Yesterday it was a rap song that went something like, “I’m fly cause I am hot, you ain’t cause you not.” Not the best phrase of all time to have stuck in my head, but it was there none the less. (On a side note, my friend Todd always says, none the less - a phrase that is stuck in his head - none the less)
