Nothing Fails to Amaze Me

Posted on Tuesday 10 April 2007

There is little that fails to amaze me at times - how people drive, how people interact, how people live this little thing we like to call life.  I saw something recently that went out in written form through an email and the language that was used was so, how can I say this, seemingly insincere?

I live in a lot of different worlds.  I work at two different colleges/universities that are very different in how they go about doing school.  I work at a volleyball club.  I work doing consulting where I work with lots of folks and organizations.  This email came from one of my worlds and seem to use that world’s culture to justify a mistake.  Now this is just my read into the situation, but it just stirred me up.

Sorry to be so vague but I know better than to blast away in a public setting.  So, I will leave it purposely vague and only my wife will really know what I am talking about.  But, don’t use the culture to hide a bad decision.  Call a things what they are - enough for today.
