As my friend Mark Van Steenwyk noted a while back, it is odd to tell people you are not blogging much lately, or sorry for not blogging, etc. So I won’t do that to all of you faithful readers and friends. What I will do is tell you what an epic week I had while I was in Montana. Well, it was not quite a week but it was epic.
Why do you say epic you might be asking? Because I was able to intertwine working, and having a leadership event / admissions event out in Bozeman, Montana and stay at my friend Ryan’s lodge - Lion’s Ridge. I also managed to get some skiing in, and the day just happened to have 30 inches of fresh powder. 30 inches - almost triple deep what I have ever skied in. The snow was going over my head and spraying my mouth and eyes to where I was skiing blind. It was crazy. It looked something like this:

It was amazing - the difference between this picture and what we experienced was that it was snowing so you could barely see anything. It was a great time to hang out and have to work, and get to experience the beauty of nature out in Montana. What a great time - but also great to be back home.
