Busy Weekend

Posted on Sunday 4 February 2007

I am on the tail end of a busy weekend.  Yesterday I worked with the Bethel University Women’s Volleyball team.  We worked on who they were as a group and how they could use what they are good at the maximize their potential.  It was a lot of fun and lasted most of the day.  From there I went home for an hour and then was off to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport to fly down to Orlando, Florida.  This morning and afternoon I spent time with the International Mentoring Network and worked with their strengths & personalities.  Both groups asked great questions and were really thinking beyond the training I was leading them through.

Now, I am doing some blogging here at the Orlando Airport where I picked up a free fast wireless connection - score for me.  The only tough part of my weekend is that I will miss most of the superbowl where my Bears are participating for the first time in 21 years.  I hope the plane is not delayed and that I am able to see the fourth quarter.  We shall see.

Next weekend I am working with a group again taking them through their strengths on Saturday and then Sunday I have an all day volleyball touranament.  This makes for a busy few weeks considering last weekend I was in San Diego.  I have not traveled this much for a while and I forget how tiring traveling can be.  Such is life - JVD

    Hi Joe,
Great job yesterday. Thank you for answering all of our questions and sharing your own experiences about training others. I learned much that I hope to be able to pass on to others.
    Peace,
    Brian

I like having you around, but I know I must share you with the rest of the world. :)
