Happy Holidays to everyone! I am back from Kauai, Hawaii and making my way through the transition from warm paradise to sleeting / raining / snowing Minnesota. I love Minnesota for many reasons, but sleet is not one of them.
I am very thankful for this past year. I was able to coach two different great teams of awesome girls - St. Kate’s and Minnesota Select 16-3’s - and now I am starting with a new group of girls at Select - 17-2’s team. Volleyball continues to be a passion for me and coaching will always be something that I do.
I am thankful for my job at Bethel - it allows me to do what I do best and it is a really flexible job. I still cannot believe I now get 5 weeks vacation per year. It is crazy. I was also able to complete my MA degree this year after starting it in 2000. That long journey came to an end - I realized I am a good recruiter and an average student - I just don’t love being in class -
Those are just a few things I am thankful for this year - and soon I wil be married for three years - I am really thankful for my wife!
