Family Time

Adams Family

Well I am in the process of wrapping up a long holiday we call Thanksgiving.  We had relatives visit us in Minnesota for the first time over a holiday here at our place.  Danielle and I do not live close to any of our family so to have all of our family, or most of it anyway,  visit for 4-5  days is a big change.

I grew up in a family where we were with family constantly - everyone lived in Chicago save a few family members.  So, being married and away from family is a stark contrast from what I was used to growing up.  Either way it is an adjustment for anyone who either is around family all the time, or, if you only see your family once in a while.

Pros and Cons with both I suppose - but overall I appreciate my family and enjoy spending time with them.  I also like having our place to myself - a conundrum.  Just some thoughts on family.  JVD
