Ah yes, the Mayflower - the Pilgrims - the turkey, etc. How can you go wrong? Thanksgiving is a fun holiday. I just got back from a wonderful 6.5 mile run around Lake Harriet here in Minneapolis with my fabulous wife Danielle. ÂÂ
It is really warm here in Minneapolis for this holiday. Around 55 degrees is expected today and we would welcome the warm weather. I was talking to my friend Michael who lives in Manhattan Beach, California and he was mentioning to me he needed to put on a sweatshirt because it was 65 degrees, so I guess temperature is all a matter of perspective. We are soon going to be picking up the relatives at the Minneapolis St. Paul International airport before we eat all the Turkey up later.
What are you doing today? Where are you in the world?

sounds awesome, i need to get running again.
Toronto. Freezing cold today. I’m holed up in a library doing papers. Glimpse of hope is date night tonight.
We’re celebrating our first Thanksgiving tonight (in dull, grey, cold Sheffield)! As we have an American on our core team we thought we’d use thanksgiving as a good excuse to throw a big party…should be fun!
Lon - do it, it feels great after you get through the first few weeks of getting your lungs back.
Sam - That is awesome - what are you having? JVD
We’re going as American as we possibly can. Turkey. American stuffing (I didn’t know it was different to ours!), pumpkin pie I think, cookies, brownies, cheesecake factory cheesecake (oh the joys of having Costco in Sheffield!)…can’t wait!
