Since I switched over to Voxtropolis I have not been updating much on what I am reading or listening to these days. There was an easy to use feature on Xanga that allowed me to do that. So, I now realize that I will just have to do the udpating in my posts. Lately I have been enjoying two CD’s that have not left my car CD player very often
Pearl Jam’s new CD, which seems to be best suited if I am in a bad mood and need to hear something loud, or if I am working out and need to push through a wall that I hit. The track, “Worldwide Suicide,” seems to be a bit pessimistic about our current age, but I could be wrong.
The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s “Stadium Arcadium,” this album is simply great. The more I listen to the double CD the more I like it. From “Dani California,” to “Tell Me Baby,” there are many fine tracks that producer Rick Rubin helped the Peppers turn out a solid work. JVD
