Hot Hot Hot & Alex McManus Sighting

Posted on Monday 17 July 2006

It is hot in Minneapolis - hovering each day between 90 - 100 and we are having some fierce humidity. This is not normal for us - and you can tell when you look at everyone who is dealing with the heat. What does this mean in a practical way? I have to go for my runs early or late, but late does not seem to be helping as it stays in the high 80’s at 10:00 pm at night.

Hot Hot Hot -

Oh - I also got to spend a few quality moments with Alex today here in St. Paul. He is dropping in on the Doctor of Ministry cohort he is leading with his brother Erwin. Good to see my friend Alex - JVD

Alex was just eating dinner with us last night and now he is in St. Paul. How very small the world is…

Welcome to hell, bro. Here in southern AL we live in that mess all summer long…and summer lasts 5-6 months. I feel you on the humidity and the 90’s at 9pm stuff, too.

Hang in there, though…pretty soon you’ll be cooling off, and it’ll be October before we consistenly stay out of the 90’s. Thanks again for all your help with Strengths.
