This week has flown by. I have had moments of joy, sadness, frustration, elation, duldrum, excitment, peace - the whole range. Life is full and I enjoy living it. There were moments this week when I was 100% in my strength areas, and it was electric. I can’t tell you how good it feels to be who you were created to be. It is like getting high the right way - on life! I also have had some sad moments in dealing with folks who are just headed for trouble. My soul aches and hurts for them as they do not see, and won’t listen to what is coming their way.
What a week. Danielle and I are off to Las Vegas for a professional conference this weekend. The National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals conference. I am presenting as part of the conference on, “Recruit with your Strengths.” That should be fun, I don’t know how many people will come to my workshop, but I am excited to see who does. I will also try to catch some of the 85 degrees and sunny weather that will be there. If I don’t come back it is because I joined the world poker tour and am trying to get rich going “all in.” Just kidding - : ) JVD
