Today I have the feeling much like I used to get when I was five years old and waiting to be able to open Christmas presents the day before. Tonight Danielle and I are flying to Idaho to ski at Grand Targhee and check out the Victor, Driggs area of Idaho. I have never skied Grand Targhee before, but cannot wait to hit the slopes tomorrow morning.
Danielle and I just love being in the mountains. The Grand Tetons will be our backdrop, and what a backdrop they will be. Can’t wait - should have some great pictures for you all next week. They get more than 500 inches of snow a year at Grand Targhee and the picture above is pretty typical conditions. If you have never skied before, or never powder skied before, it is really like skiing on clouds. I really can’t wait. Have a great weekend! JVD
