This year I am trying something new with my golf game. I have gone ahead and joined a golf club. There are a few advantages to being a member at a golf club. The club I am joining is about 40 minutes away from my house - and is called ‘The Legacy.’ The advantages to joining a club include - getting the tee times you want when you want them, unlimited play for a fixed price, playing on a nicer course etc. etc.
I am really excited. Last year I brought my handicap down to 18 - and my goal for this season is to bring it down to 12. Last year I went from a 28 to an 18, so I hope to make the next jump. Believe it or not the jump from 18 to 12 is much harder than the jump from 28 to 18. Why am I writing about a sport that I will not be able to play in ernest until April 1st? Because I have to. I have a category for Golf and I have no posts about golf - that can’t happen. So, this is my post to make sure the Golf category gets populated. JVD
